WEDDING FLOWERS COST WHAT?

Flowers, like many things in life, cost much more than you would think. I’m sharing a couple of reasons behind the price, why it’s worth it, and some tips I suggest when planning for your wedding flowers.

The Why

  1. You have a specific vision, style, color, or maybe even an exact flower, in mind for your special day. Ensuring we select florals that will be thriving come wedding day is beyond important! Assuming they’re in full bloom, we also research availability, always aiming to purchase locally. Once we have your beautiful florals in hand, we start the design and styling process. Last but not least, we make certain the florals arrive at your venue perfectly fresh by providing the appropriate temperature, hydration, and transportation throughout the entire process.

  2. Weddings are a huge investment, and most couples prioritize their venue and photographer - as well you should! You're already investing a boatload on documenting your day but keep in mind, your florals will likely be centerstage in nearly all your wedding photos! The last thing you want are wilted, grocery store flowers.

The Tips

  1. Ask your florist for advice! Concentrate your budget on the flowers that will have the largest impact. Consider reusing a ceremony installation at your reception entry, or reworking the bridesmaid’s bouquets to serve as additional centerpieces.

  2. Be open to hearing new ideas. You may not need a wedding arbor if your ceremony backdrop is a gorgeous landscape. If your tablescape will be filled with vibrant or patterned linens and dishware, the floral centerpieces can take a backseat and remain clean and minimal.
